The original medieval plan of Ingleby Manor, with living areas arranged around two internal courtyards divided by the Great Hall, allowed us to create spacious and airy apartments with minimal alteration to the 16th Century house. Each is totally self-contained with its own entrances and lovely views over the surrounding gardens, woods and hills.
The atmosphere of a historic country house has been retained through the careful use of antique furniture and appropriate furnishings, and the installation of central heating and modern appliances make the apartments cosy and comfortable.

Each of our apartments has the following as standard; TV, radio, vacuum cleaner, ironing board and iron, hair dryer, microwave, oven and hob, electric kettle, toaster, hand mixer, fridge/freezer, cafetiere, electric shaver points, a selection of family games, a selection of books, washing-up liquid, tea towels/dish cloth, kitchen roll, refuse bags.
Duvets with full bed linen and towels are provided and are changed on a weekly basis.
DVD players and DVDs from Ingleby Manor's DVD library are available.
All electricity and central heating by meter reading in the appartments, included in the rental for Courtyard Cottage and Manor Cottage. Extra electric heaters available. Maid service can be arranged. Cots and high chair by arrangement (linen for cots not provided). Babysitting by arrangement.
Parking - Ample safe off-road car parking is available at Ingleby Manor.
The local butcher in the village can arrange for a hamper or welcome pack of local meat (AV Fawcett).
